Join us for 5 days of AcroYoga Solar Power in Barcelona with Jason Nemer, Alexandra Ruiz & Lucie Beyer
June 27nd to July 1st, 2015
The Solar Immersion empowers students to realize their infinite potential through the powerful embodiment of acrobatic partnership.
Linear progressions and an emphasis on the art of spotting make learning advanced acrobatics safe, accessible, and fun. Confidence and coordination are developed in strength training and inversions, which pave the way for ease and grace in partner acrobatics. After refining foundations, we will train more precise acrobatic work, such as foot-to-hand, hand-to-hand and standing acrobatics.
Get ready to push past your own personal limits in a fun and safe environment.

DYNAMIC THAI MASSAGE
“THE POETRY OF PERPETUAL MOVEMENT”
Dynamic Thai Massage is based on gentle rocking, oscillatory and harmonic movements of the different body parts to restore lost rhythm.
Life is movement. Everything is rhythm. So come and play with us to move, rock, create, dance and allow harmony and evolution.
For the giver, Dynamic Thai Massage is the opportunity…
…to improve his/her fluidity, precision and transitions in the massage,
…to be creative, joyful and happy while working,
…to develop his/her touch while working on the mechanic, liquid and energetic levels.
For the receiver, Dynamic Thai Massage is a chance…
…to recover mobility and freedom in his/her musculoskeletal system,
…to improve the fluid circulation (blood and lymphatic systems),
…to re-establish a good energetic circulation,
…to release the nervous system.
And Dynamic Thai Massage is the poetry of perpetual movement where giver and receiver enter in resonance and harmony to be ONE with the rhythm of Life.

One of the greatest challenges of the Ashtanga flow is the vinyasa. In this class David will break the vinyasa down into its basic components. He likes to refer to this as: “The Physics of Flight”. Participants will explore techniques for creating greater lightness and efficiency of practice while using less effort to achieve greater ease.
The class will also explore the elements of handstands and arm-balances. It is common to feel intimidated or even frightened by balancing on our hands. David will address this issue and offer techniques and practical methods of approach to allow for greater confidence and ability that can be carried away and applied within a personal practice. This will all be done through the avenue of insightful and simple methods he has designed through decades of practice and teaching others. There will be partner work as well as individual techniques offered. There is always plenty of laughter and fun as well as a depth of information David’s classes. All levels may attend even if you have never done a handstand before. Alternatives are always given.
Come and Experience the Joy of Flight!
Therapeutic Ale&Pau
After 7 years of friendship and co created magic, Ale and Pau bring their passion for that “good feelin” with all of you! Good feeling of our body, good feel with our family, good feel with our surrounding. We like to go deep but slow….. so come along and join is in a journey to explore those Sabrosos, Ricos, and delightful feelings to be able to share them with the others.
THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR
The task of the warrior is to show up, to be visible and empower others through example and intention.Through the archetype of the warrior an old-fashioned term for leader indigenous societies connect to the process of empowerment and to the human resource of power. Universally there are three kinds of power: power of presence, power to communicate, power of position. Shamanic societies recognize that a person who has all three powers embodies "big medicine."
Physical Practice: Emphasize on Warrior Postures.
Inversions and Backbends
Building Roots and Growing Confidence
Whether you are frightened of inverting or love to hang out upside-down and whether you have a flexible back or a stiff board-like spine there is much to be learned from David’s insightful tools for building confidence and gaining control in Inversions and Backbends.
David will take the class on a journey of exploration into the unseen world of Gravity and share methods of how to utilize this perpetual energy as a stabilizing force for establishing our roots from which we can grow into inversions and backbends with greater ease and more confidence.
He will teach the participants methods to expand the front of the body and open the heart rather than collapse the back in order to discover greater depth in a backbend with less effort and more grace and efficiency.
David likes to encourage patience when he teaches. He phrases it like this: “The strongest trees in the forest grow the slowest!”
Take the seeds of information he shares and plant them within the fertile ground of your personal practice and watch them grow!
THE WAY OF THE VISIONARY
The task of the visionary is to see the truth without blame or judgment. Truthfulness, authenticity and integrity are essential keys to developing our vision and intuition. We express the Way of the Visionary through personal creativity, goals, plans, and our ability to bring our life dreams and visions into the world. Rollo May states what shamanic traditions have practiced for centuries, "If you do not express your own original ideas, if you do not listen to your own being, you will have betrayed yourself."
Physical Practice: Emphasize on Hip-Opening.
Kalarippayat - Male and Female Sequencing
"Male and Female Sequencing" takes us deep into the heart of Vadakkan Sampradayam, the Northern Style of Kalarippayat. We will start with the male form, tapping into what the scriptures call "transformative fury" with a one-pointed focus, which is ultimately a fierce invitation for our Kundalini to rise. Afterwards we will take our first steps in the female form, with our focus no longer one-pointed. Sensory awareness is expanding instead, and the energy previously generated in the male form is creatively put into action.
Often refered to as the “Tantra Yoga of Martial Arts”, Kalari is not simply a martial art and a healing art, but one of the oldest forms of human movement transmitted and still alive today. Its fierce physical sequencing is deeply wired into our evolutionary consciousness, ultimately aiming at balancing our male and female aspects on a psychophysical level.
Our first act of life as we enter this world is to inhale and our last act before departing is to exhale. Breath is our most elemental form of life and unites all of humanity yet we think little about it. The ancient yogis gave it great thought and in so doing developed intricate methods of harnessing breath to gain control of the mind and to see the world with greater clarity.
This class will delve into the realms of specialized Yogic Breathing as well as the subtle and highly misunderstood internal energy valves known as Bandhas. There is much confusion surrounding these mystical tools and the part they play in the regulation and control of pranic flow. David will share information he gained directly from K. Pattabhi Jois as well as a series of practical exercises he has developed himself to assist the practitioner in gaining a greater understanding of these subtle yet powerful energy gateways of yoga. David has an amazing ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms. All are sure to leave with new insights and useful tools for personal practice regardless of their system.
Come and Feel the Prana!
THE WAY OF THE HEALER
The task of the healer is to pay attention to what has heart and meaning and to access the human resource of love. We express the Way of the Healer through attitudes and actions that maintain personal health and support the welfare of our environment. Healers in most traditions recognize that the power of love is the most potent healing force available. Effective healers from any culture are those who extend the arms of love gratitude, acceptance, recognition, validation and acknowledgment. Across cultures, there are four universal healing salves: singing, dancing, storytelling and silence.
Physical Practice: Emphasize Twists and Backbends.
Wuo Tai is an artful mix of gestures and movements…
A Meeting between Ostéopathy and Dance.
The movements are light and in rythm.
The weight of oneself and of the other rotate around the center of gravity and the center of the movement, expressing a fluid and beautiful form of body language.
The benefits the dance are real, this practice awakens the consciousness of mind in the body.
Roland Combes, Ostéopath, initiated the practice by wanting to create a bridge between his profession, Dance and all other old practices like Qi Qong, yoga, martial arts …
A desire that everything takes on a gestual.

Jivamukti&Beyond: The Archetype of the Teacher
Among tribal peoples, medicine men, chiefs, shamans, teachers or seers are called "change masters." The shamanic traditions remind us that, for centuries, human beings have used nature and ritual to buffer the effects of change and to support a life event. In cultures like ours where we are alienated from our mythological roots, renewal requires a return to the basic source where all personal and cultural myths are ultimately forged the human psyche. To guide our renewal we can look how shamanic traditions have consistently accessed four archetypal patterns to maintain connections to the mythic structures that support creative expression, health and adaptation to change. These four archetypal ways are The Way of the Warrior, The Way of the Healer, The Way of the Visionary and The Way of the Teacher. The four Ways reflect a pervasive belief that life will be simple if we practice four basic principles: Show up or choose to be present, pay attention to what has heart and meaning, tell the truth without blame or judgment, and be open, rather than attached to, the outcome.
All these teachings as relevant to one’s life on and off the mat, supported by chanting, breath awareness, flowing vinyasa sequences, alignment exploration, hands-on assistance, relaxation and meditation.

The aim of the post-conference workshop is to re-connect with our own bodies, nature, and the foods that nourish us. Health can only be achieved in a holistic way, when mind, body and spirit are well taken care of.
Many of us living in cities have lost our connection to the foods that provide us with the energy needed to live our lives in a good way. In order to live a happy, healthy life we need to learn to listen to our bodies, and eat better. In this workshop we will go through many recipes, breakfast ideas, snacks, full meals, and of course deserts. Participants will try everything we make and we will discuss all the issues people living in cities may face when trying to eat according to nature’s cycles, which are our own cycles.
